DescriptionNeuro linguistic programming is a controversial approach to psychotherapy and organizational change based on a model of interpersonal communication chiefly concerned with the relationship between successful patterns of behaviour and the subjective experiences underlying them. There is a system of alternative therapy based on this which seeks to educate people in self-awareness and effective communication, and to change their patterns of mental and emotional behaviour". Richard Bandler and John Grinder came up with the approach in the 1970s. Tony Robbins popularized it in the 1980s. In the 1990s, Bandler returned with DHE, or Design Human Engineering. Today, NLP's popularity is growing on the internet.
